A Divine Exchange
Connect to servants of God who preach the Cross, the Blood of Jesus and the repentance of sin.
“I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.” (Isaiah 50:6-7)
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
The finished work of Jesus on the Cross is the only divinely appointed, approved and accepted place of sacrifice, requital and exchange. Your sins and curses exchanged for all His blessings: the Holy Spirit, cleansing from sin, purity, the resurrection body, eternal life and escaping the wrath of God on sin and wickedness, which ultimately ends in the eternal Lake of Fire.
Jesus obeyed all the Law of Moses perfectly and received all the blessings that come with it. He saw the joy in the future and went to the Cross disregarding the shamefulness of it. In this perfection He shed His blood and died as the Lamb of God. The ultimate blood sacrifice to obtain forgiveness for all who come to Him in repentance of sin. Do as Moses did when he took hyssop, dipped it in the basin and applied the blood of the sacrificial lamb on the 2 door posts and lintel (Ex. 12:22). Don’t leave the blood in the basin were it provides no protection from death.
The door has been open for 20 centuries to this once-in-a-lifetime, God-provided opportunity that may close very soon – forever. The blood of the Sacrificial Lamb is in “the basin” ready to be applied now with “hyssop”. Come to Jesus in faith. Don’t play dice with your eternal soul. Today, we apply the blood on “the 2 door posts and lintel” when we personally (speak) proclaim with our mouth (the hyssop) what the blood of Jesus does for us. (Rev 12:11, Eph. 1:7, 1John 1:9, 1:7, Rom. 5:9, Heb. 13:12, 10:19, 12:24)
Jesus was made a curse on the Cross… that we might receive His blessings. (Gal. 3:13, Heb. 2:9, Eph. 1:5-6, 2Cor. 8:9)
