The Cross of Jesus is rejected as foolishness when not received through faith alone. God chose the Cross of Jesus because it successfully filters out all rational human intelligence. It is God’s wisdom on how to keep out everything except faith in Jesus if you desire His gift of eternal life. A narrow door indeed!
